RESUME`

David C. Phipps
Summary of Qualifications
Experienced in all aspects of golf course construction, grow-in and ongoing maintenance. Well honored for work in the environmental arena in golf course management.

Professional Objective
A position in the golf course management industry with major responsibilities that will effectively utilize my communication, leadership, and agronomic skills.

Agronomic Philosophy
I feel it is my environmental responsibility to use the highest efficiency fertilization in low quantities to improve plant health while protecting streams and ground water from nutrient leaching.

My primary focus on maintaining turfgrass is the soil. With a balanced soil, managing turfgrass and superb playing surfaces become secondary. In an environment of increasing costs, basic soil management can become very cost effective. Turf grown on a well balance soil becomes less dependent on additional inputs, allowing resources to be reallocated elsewhere.
